The wedge design of CDV was conceived to obtain a single pitch facing south on which it is possible to arrange an array of photovoltaic panels, assembled on a solar tracking support where the panel moves perpendicularly to sunrays all day long and during the different seasons, as sunflowers do.
The external staircase has a great functional-aesthetical architectonic importance; it has glass shelves on a thin stainless steel structure built-in the north side of the CDV.
On the first floor loft, on the right side, there is a kitchen completely covered with stainless steel, it is provided of induction cookings, oven, fridge, drawers and sliding doors to store pots and pans. An extractor fan is located on the kitchen, this is covered with stainless steel, and it has the same dimensions in plan of the whole kitchen complex.
A pair of circular sofa bed are placed one in the living area on the ground floor on the wooden plank, and the other on the second floor loft, on the right side, on the glass floor.
The convection closed fireplace placed on the wooden plank on the ground floor, square-shaped in plan-view, is equipped with 4 sides with glass guillotine or swing (ideal for cleaning) openings, each one separately openable and to prevent unwanted releases of smoke, with block that conditions the single opening of a faces one by one. The barrel of smoke evacuation is coaxial to the airconditioned ventilation ducts.
The bathroom area is completely open space and it is articulated on several spaces and levels as described below.
